Xbmc updating librtmp
It was tested on Rock Chip Devices but appears to work on a lot of others.
The biggest reason behind me asking is that you always hear from someone who says..."sounds like you have an older version of librtmp" then you hear...how do I update..."well you have to re-compile" which is cool and all but...there just be a way to have a ready-to-go librtmp that can be added to the repos or something that would go and fetch a new version so that we can keep it up to date.all the h264/aac work great though because they are hardware accelerated Source: XBMC Community Forum - View Single Post this one is compiled for arm... But I think that would be huge if it could be done.

Now I just don't have time to keep up with the details of what rtmp devs have done.
With other libs, we watch for a version bump and grab that.
One problem is that the notion of "up to date" is lost on rtmp devs.
